Buttons for everyone!

Ok so this isn't the best photo but I came into my office the other day to discover my 19 month old son had scaled the office desk and discovered my button hairpins - I had my mobile in hand so snapped a quick shot - guess buttons are a hit with the smallest of people too! Either that or button appreciation must run in our genes!

Buttoned up for a good read!

Personally I am sick of paper book marks - the book drops on floor, is thrown on floor or knocked on the floor by either the baby, the dog or who ever and like that you loose your page. I am also a bit anal and don't like folding the pages of the book. So now I have come up with a solution a giant paper clip book mark made out of none other than my vintage buttons. So get a book mark for the love of buttons or your fave book!

Back with a button vengence!!

Well has been a while since I last blogged.
Zaiden was born last May and my buttons were all packed up till just recently when I had a calling to get buttoning again.......and so the buttonista is back!! Been on a frenzy of buttoning necklaces, broaches and earings - so much fun and so much colour!! I have had a great response to my new pieces and many more yet to come!! Loads of new ideas in the button line....hopefully between changing nappies I can create some new ideas which are exploding in my mind.
Till then may the buttons be with you!!

Preloved featured in this months fashion mag Lure!

Well I can't complain about free publicity.......or maybe I can just a little......nice to have my necklace feature in the publication but surely getting my company name right and actually listing a stockist couldn't have been that complicated......sigh. Oh well still nice to share the page with some other great creative minds and designs.

Il Postino

This is one of my funkier stockists Il Postino - such a great store - it's the old Middle Park post office that has been converted to a clothing/jewellery store - such an amazing space and uber cool postal memorabilia but sadly in its last weeks of trading before the place is turned into apartments.....damn those yuppie apartments. Meanwhile my necklace adorns the mannequins on the streets!
